A Green-Filled Weekend

18 Mar

Happy Monday 🙂 We love that Katie over at the blog Healthy Diva Eats has this wonderful link up every Monday. We love sharing about our marvelous weekends with all of you and hope that you all had a MARVELOUS weekend filled with friends, family, and green eats just like we did. Here are some photos to sum up just how marvelous our weekend was!

Friday night was initiation for Phi Sigma Sigma. We are officially sisters and couldn’t be happier 🙂
Here is the group of wonderful girls we have spent the past five weeks with becoming new members

And these are all our new sisters! (new members are in white, previously initiation sisters are in black)
Here are a few pictures to sum up our weekend food wise. We had a girls night with a few friends from college filled with chick flicks, girl talk, green food, and some fun drinks in some even funner cups!

All the green food we ate during our girls night on Saturday

Friday’s Packed Lunch

St. Patrick’s day lunch: Polenta stacks and a side salad

Lets be serious…it’s not really St. Patricks Day until you’ve had a green smoothie in a bowl

Finally we ended our green filled weekend with a kale and feta quiche. We followed Eating Bird Food’s recipe! Check it out here .

Such a marvelous weekend.

What green food did you make this weekend?

Green smoothies are so much more fun in a bowl instead of drinking them with a straw. You must give it a try. It does remind us of eating ice cream so we like to add crunchy granola and sliced almonds to the top! Happy Monday!

Thank you! We had to wear white for our ceremony so we searched high and low for cute white dresses! It was so much harder than we thought it would be. Have a fabulous Monday!
