The Steps to Perfect Overnight Oats

Well we think it’s safe to say there are about one trillion, six hundred and eighty seven different ways you can make overnight oats. The measurements, ingredients, milks, flavors, fruits, and sweeteners are kind of endless. In case you were lost in the mix up of all these different ingredients we have for you our newest overnight oats recipe that never fails to let us down in the morning. Thanks to Kath Eat’s and Immaeatthat we have found our way in the crazy world of overnight oats. Here’s our favorite take on this wonderful breakfast combination.

The Perfect Overnight Oats to Date
Serves One

1/3 cup quick oats
2/3 cup milk of choice
1/4 cup cottage cheese (or greek yogurt)
1/2 tbsp chia seeds
lots of cinnamon
1/2 banana, thinly sliced

Combine all ingredients together in a bowl. Make sure to mix well or the chia seeds will clump together. Store overnight in the refrigerator in a covered dish. In the morning, top with whatever ingredients your heart desires.

drippy peanut butter + granola + strawberries
date + peanut butter + honey
date + cashews + peanut butter
buckwheat groats + peanut butter
almond butter + blueberries + buckwheat groats

Don’t forget almost empty peanut/almond/sunflower seed butter make the perfect container for overnight oats!
