The Perfect Coffee Smoothie

Sometimes you just need an afternoon pick me up. This can sometimes be found in the form of a granola bar. Or maybe in the form of dark chocolate. Or  maybe a in a coffee smoothie. Yup, definitely a coffee smoothie. So today, I say you make your afternoon pick me up this coffee smoothie. It is a really energizing smoothie that will take you approximately 60 seconds to make. The combination of banana, coffee, and cinnamon blend perfectly into a thick smoothie that you can enjoy with a spoon.

Coffee Banana Smoothie

Serves 1

Ingredients:
1 large frozen banana 
5 frozen coffee ice cubes 
5 frozen soy milk ice cubes
2-3 water ice cubes
1/2 cup of soy milk 
a large pinch of cinnamon

Directions:
1. Place all the ingredients in the blender, blend, and enjoy!

Before you head into your kitchen to make this smoothie, you have to freeze both coffee and soy milk into ice cubes in advance. You can choose any flavor of coffee that you would like! We used Folgers original, but I think next time we may try to make it with our toasted coconut flavor.
